Lamb's Ear is widely grown and cultivated, but the plant's original origin is Northern Turkey where it was grown on rocky hills. While there are a few folkloric references to herbal uses for Lamb's Ears, like as a washcloth and to reduce wounds. The plant is also known to help heal cuts, burns, scrapes and boils.
For this project I decided to combine the aspect of Lamb's Ear as a healing/bandage plant and high fashion in order to make nature more accessible to those who would otherwise ignore it.
