Organic Garden Project

Michelle Obama plants an organic vegetable garden at the White House.



This happened in June 2009, but I remember when the story first came
out, there was a "controversy" over her decision to not spray the garden
with pesticides. Interestingly, the only group criticizing the first lady was
Mid America CropLife Association (MACA), which is a corporation that
prides itself on modern farming techniques such as pesticides/herbicides
/biocides.
